My specialty is in painting characters for Epic Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Young Adult Fantasy, Middle Grade Fantasy, Romantic Fantasy, and Sci-fi, but I can lend my style and insights to the other fiction genres without a hitch.

I start by asking you questions and reading the manuscript myself. This gives me a chance to fall in love with the characters and world so I can create art that truly resonates with it. This means these stories can be wrapped in an authentic tribute to the writing. And it means I can create covers that not only attract the ideal readers, but that grow in significance as they read through them.

For a breakdown of my process:
📖 - Immersion - where I send through a questionnaire about the book and I read over the manuscript, or read and discuss the brief
✏️ - Sketching and Revisions - where I'll share my insights and recommendations while making sure we're all excited with the vision
🖌️ - Painting - where I take reference photos as necessary and illustrate the gorgeous cover art
🖼️ - Finishing - where we wrap up the book with a print-ready-PDF, ebook cover, and any useful promotional assets

I can provide Exterior and Interior Illustration, Cover Design, Art Direction, Exterior Typography, Promotional Assets and Images, Sprayed Edges, and I even offer a cheeky sense of humour for those inclined.
